There are regular training sessions that take place every week, plus we have some that are seasonal.

We also have individual training events that will be listed on the events page.

Please inform the coach at each coached session of any injury, allergy or medical issues.

Monday Swim Session

Swim training is currently held every Monday from 9-10pm at Inverness Leisure. Sessions will be open to members only. Sessions run are run at £12 a month for fully coached training sessions, please support the club by filling the lanes!

What ever your swimming ability we can help you improve through:

Wednesday - Cycle skills sessions (Summer only)

Looking to develop your cycling skills in a safe environment or develop your group riding skills. This is the session for you. This session is for all abilities, both juniors and adults. Sessions will be starting on Wednesday the 18th April.

If your looking to build confidence and bike handling skills there will be a junior and adult session on the traffic free cycle all ability cycle track out at Cantray. For those looking to build more confidence out on the road or built fitness there will be group rides for different abilities leaving from the Car park at the Cantray all ability cycle centre.

What to bring: Your bike, your helmet, your cycle kit & lots of enthusiasm!

Where: All ability cycle centre Cantray

When: Wednesdays at 6.30pm (Starting 18th April) – The session will run from 6.30pm – 7.30pm possibly longer for the group rides.

Cost: This session is currently free while it is trialled.

Thursday Run Session

6.30 – 7.30pm at University of Highlands and Islands – Inverness campus

Meet by the Highlands and Islands Enterprise office on the Inverness Campus (IV2 5NA) for a coached run session looking to improve strength and speed. These sessions will cater for all athletes’ needs – for those new to running the session will build up distance and intensity gradually to insure you are holding good technique, for those seasoned racers, coaches regularly use hills for a hard, competitive workout!

Friday - Moy Open Water Session (Spring/Summer only)

Meet at overflow carpark at 6.15pm at University of Highlands and Islands – Inverness campus. To minimise cars on the May site we share lifts over to the Loch.

These sessions will cater for all athletes’ needs – for those new to open water the session will build confidence and open water skills, for more seasoned swimmers skills sessions will be combined with some longer distance Open water sets.

*Membership of Triathlon Inverness is required for insurance.

Saturday parkrun

All year: Saturday 9.30am – Run – 5K race organised by parkrun, pre-registration required at www.parkrun.org.uk/inverness. This is not a triathloninverness event but members can get involved in the club ranking by coming along regularly and running or volunteering.
